In May 2014, over a weekly catch up and a skinny cappuccino, Gem&i was born. Two best friends, bursting with ideas, decided to take the plunge; finally leave their day jobs to pursue their ultimate dream of creating a brand together.  Gemma Henry and Lauren Barnett, a fashion designer and an MBA graduate, share a  vision and an obsessive enthusiasm for casual clothing. Whilst working in New York, they  fell in love with the laid-back style of the women there, inspired to create clothes comfortable enough for lounging at home, yet stylish enough to hit the town.  Gem&i is a collection of high quality, extremely soft, every day essentials, recognizable by their perfect fit and originally designed slogans and prints. Combining practicality with luxury, they are  effortlessly versatile pieces that take you from running errands straight to brunch
